You’d think, Rosalyn would know Calvin’s tricks by now.

She should have known better!!! This is going to be good…I’ve always liked the Babysitter vs. Calvin storyline! ;)

The irony of loving the freedom to make yourself sick!

In Rosalyn defense, I totally didn’t see that coming either. …at least not since I was Calvin’s age.

Considering what I did do to babysitters, Calvin is a little angel.

Look, in the long run, Rosalyn gets a raise…

She has to get back inside to get a raise…or even to get paid.

Calvin did get a rise out of her, however.

Um…. X…. do tell….. or maybe not.

This is a little kid’s all too typical reasoning. No sense of consequences or repercussions. They achieve their immediate goal, and believe that their odyssey ends then and there.

If you’re referring to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, how do you charge someone for that? It’s a tragic event, but not a crime.

Also, SID refers only to infants.

@somebodyshort: Maybe Calvin doesn’t have to avoid Rosalyn at other times. Maybe she avoids him.

Yeah, I get tired of hearing old farts and their stories about “the good old days” too. I’m an old fart and I know better.

@Joshua: Yes, that’s correct. When Rosalyn turned out to be Calvin’s swimming instructor, Calvin made her unhappy, so he was hoping she wouldn’t drown her sorrows.

Wonder what he did to get her to put him in the garage.

@Agingstoner: While I would acknowledge that the “Good Old Days” probably weren’t all that good in many ways, I do enjoy reading some of the stories on this site, especially ones that are from “before my time.” Some of them are very entertaining / informative. The good thing about written text is that if you find a posting to be too long or it doesn’t interest you, you can skip over the rest. Hope you read this far…….

We were so hard on babysitters my parents gave up on going out.

I can’t believe she fell for that.

She deserves it for trying to put Calvin too sleep BEFORE 6:30!!!
