What a grumpy Grail! He’s no fun. Maybe El Jefe is right: they shouldn’t play together, at least not for a cooling-off period….

The cartoon sketch of this cartoon on the wall is cute. I notice the last panel is blank so I would presume it was the unfinished sketch.

Alright, Justin, so you wrote yourself into Mythtickle… Do you really sketch in your Medievel costume? Maybe the suit of armor look SHOULD be brought into style. :) Also, what’s the black hat with red star about? A Guevara reference?

To ‘drewzilla031’- These are things that are really in my studio, the bamboo, the enterprise, Snoopy, Woodstock, and Skull the Troll, among other things that I couldn’t fit on the shelf in the strip. The helmet I am wearing there is also on my shelf, it’s the actual helmet that I used to joust in. But no, I don’t actually work in my armor anymore. I just still like the look. And the black hat- it’s just a little something I picked up in Havana recently. Oh and Cheech Wizard is there too, sadly I do not have a Cheech Wizard statue. I put it there because he’s always with me, if not physically then surely in spirit. j

Is that the kanji for “Japanese”? The caligraphy is a bit off according to my “Reading Japanese” text.

Great to see Cheech again, even in part. Great job identifying the shelf contents and the sketch, gang! Does someone recognize the red-white-blue star emblem? Justin, we look forward to seeing the rest of your shelf someday.

Justin went to Cuba?! What, for the medical care or to buy a ‘56 Studebaker? LOL (My hope is that once both Castros are dead, the Cubans will dismantle the Communist state the same way the Spanish did the Fascist state after the death of Franco (who clings stubbornly to death.)

(If you get that SNL reference, you must be OLD! Gawd, could it have been 35 years already?)

Red, white and blue star logo looks a lot like Captain America’s shield.

It is. Cap’s my fave. I really gotta blog about Cuba soon. Oh, and that is the Japanese symbol for “peace”.

According to one kanji website that character can mean “harmony, Japan, Japanese style, peace, soften”.

Strange language, Japanese, where “sun” can mean Japan and “rice” can mean America.

I’ve long resisted getting pulled into the bottomless pit of the blogosphere, but I may have to make an exception for Mythtickle.

I wondered about the Cheech Wizard, ‘cause I was unaware that anyone did any Bode figures. When I was 15, I went to my high school’s Halloween party as Cheech Wizard - not an easy costume, but I did it.
