    I’ve done this very thing! Embarrassing to admit but stubbornness doesn’t ask for permission.

    Kind of like trying to get raw rice out of tongue-in groove stairs after the wedding at home. .Ya just gotta pick it out.

    Opal needs the Binford Turbo 5000XL super deluxe. The souped up version by Tim Taylor works wonders.

    That’s why I use two vacuums around the house. A Dyson canister and for those pesky problems a wet/dry vac aka Shop Vac.

    @Pelican47 – Shop Vac. If it works on kitty litter, it’d probably work on rice.

    Don’t bend like that to pick something up, Earl! That has a higher risk of back injury.

    It’s time to adjust the suction or get a new one because how clean can the rest of the carpet be if it’s not working well? ick

    @Nicole-

    Me too, well said! I usually end up laughing at myself while I finally pick it up.

    @SheMc- ….and I’ve done that too!

    Earl must fold up better than I do. I’d still be cheering for the vacuum!

    Where’s Roscoe? If any unpopped kernels bounce out of the garbage can when emptying the popcorn bowl, my dog will catch and eat them before they stop moving.
