I’d say The Seekers, with Judith Durham in front. I have that album, one of the relatively few they released in the U.S.

Does the “if you can’t pronounce it is good for you” also apply to all those chemicals we see in food?

Processed food, anyone? Can’t pronounce half the ingredients and they are not good for you.

I loved the Seekers & have nearly everything they ever did, including a few DVDs (I had a DVD player that would play the Australian region format). I had to order some from the HMV music store in Sydney by calling from the USA & paying by credit card. There was a time delay when talking to the store clerk due to the distance. Two of their best songs in my opinion, were I Am Australian & A Closer Walk With Thee.

I recently Googled grab and go breakfasts. One of the results claimed to include healthy offerings. They were the most disgusting looking foods I have ever seen. And, yes, the names were largely unfamiliar or unpronounceable.

If it tastes good then it’s not good for you.

Not to Dave Barry it’s not. Per his book Stay Fit and Healthy Till You’re Dead, you can determine the relative safety of a food item by the average number of syllables per ingredient (which gets into the unpronounceable bit): If the average is one or two, it’s probably safe to consume in small quantities. Three or four, it probably causes dread diseases in laboratory animals. Five or more, set the container down very carefully and flee the vicinity.
