    I think SPF values for sunblock go up to 90, but I’m not sure. There’s a point of diminishing returns on the value; a sunblock stops all but 1/SPF of the UV light that reaches the skin. Even then most sunblocks allow some of the weakest UV-A wavelength through, so again, they’re not all that great. Covering up and staying indoors works best—

    I can wear factor 50 and still blister and burn after half an hour in the sun. It’s all a load of *&%£
