I’ve never seen any girl next door wearing tribal goucho pants or a sequined sports bra. The girl next door typically wears something of quality from her closet, and her beauty comes from her personality rather than her overstuffed closet.

Cathy, the supreme chick strip

“Chick strip.” That says it, all right. If future generations should ever wonder why the ERA failed and a glass ceiling remains in business, just read “Cathy, the Chick Strip.”

The girl next door in my part of the world has tee shirts, tanks, sweatshirts, cut-offs and jeans..most of which are from discount stores, thrift stores or garage sales, NOT over-priced mall stores with pushy clerks.
I’m thinking Cathy must live in NYC, Chicago or a similarly big city.

She never does clean out her closet, but she never has anything to wear, because she keeps buying all this stuff that doesn’t go with anything, which may just explain how she ended up marrying that useless lump.
I think if Cathy lived in a big city, she wouldn’t be so clueless about what to wear and what not to. Her neighborhood always looks very small town, suburban.

Cathy is starting to not make any sense.

I still think the sales ladies should wear all those stupid clothes – if they relate so well, why don’t they wear them?
