Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
It’s HTML, a standard that a lot of forums and sites use. The “+3” and “+7” makes the text larger. The “P” ends a paragraph. The “B” tags makes the text bold.
While the font tag still works at GoComics it has been deprecated in favor of the style attribute. So now Jason might say…<div style="font-size:18pt; color:red;">MOM!<span style="font-family:comic sans MS;font-size:14pt; color:purple;">Paige kicked me off the computer even though it's <b>my</b> turn to use it.</span></div>
MOM!Paige kicked me off the computer even though it’s my turn to use it.
@Sodaburger: The classic strips are quite old. I remember the days when you didn’t need to use the closing /p tag to get a “clean” code. And I don’t remember the very first days.
Hack the Banks for money and buy yourself a new computer. With those Cheapskate parents of yours, you’ll always have to share everything with your older sibling.

I recognized the HTML, but I’d like to hear him actually verbalized it. Randy would have left even sooner, than listen to his gibberish.

I’m surprised that I could figure it out, and picture it in my mind what it would have looked like! I am NOT an HTML person.

Error Statement, Error Statement, Joshua. the “/” is the off switch so it’s “P” begins a paragraph and “/P” ends the paragraph.

@Joshua: The “p” tag does not end the paragraph, it starts a new one a closing “/p” tag ends a paragraph!
@K.C. Fahel:Jason is complaining to his mother in improper code and it bothers me a little…(because I AM an HTML person)

In “Suburban Jungle,” a programmer talked in thicker code than that all the time.
