GAAAH! I’m so tired of these in-jokes that are based on the identity of people no one who reads comics would know. It’s like Thompson is sucking up to management just so he doesn’t get dropped. Maybe if the cartoon was funnier he wouldn’t have to stoop to this.UGH. I’m about to drop “Brevity” from my line-up.

Well he could have identified the man in the Magritte reference next to it.

I agree. It is funny even if you don’t know who the person is. I thought it quite clever!
