OK everone is saying they can’t see the strips I’ve been reading for 20 minutes and everyone of the strips has come up for me. IE 8 as buggy as Microsoft is seems to work for me.
Today is my mom’s birthday so, I offered to make make her pancakes, just for laughs. I asked if she wanted them green (would have been no problem for me, but she passed), still, I managed to make some shamrock shaped ones for her.
Still, my favorite gift I (well, my brother, uncle, a close family friend and I) got her was 16 years ago when my brother was in the high school band. The band had been invited by Killarney (our recent sister city) to march in the Dublin St. Patrick’s day parade. My fellow conspirators and managed to save up and got her to go on the trip with the band. n_n
We may hope that Justin understood that “St. Paddy” is the proper abbreviation, but Justin is a notorious punster and even knowing the above fact, the pun “St. Patty Cakes” obviously was irresistible.
Oh, come on. Surely “patty cakes” is not a strictly American idiom?

Who is St. Patty? Sister of St. Selma? (Ugh, there’s a nasty thought…)
Among we of Irish descent, the correct shortening of St. Patrick is St. Paddy. St. Patty would be the shortening of St. Patricia…

I see the strip just fine (using Firefox).

Looks like the problem’s been fixed. This strip brings to mind my fridge science experiments.

Sean is enjoying his beer - love the look on his face in last panel. Thanks Justin - another one for my collection.
There are still a few comics that aren’t coming up even after 8 hours.

At last! I can see! I can see!
Boody will probably survive. I wouldn’t touch a green potato-pancake without learning beforehand why it was green!
