Ah! Mental health and bonding day.

The older I get, the more I agree!

Rerun, I think. I do agree, though.

You can’t get in trouble if you set the consequences.

Rerun? So Mark is skipping work? If you can’t live it, what good is a philosophy?

Heart’s mom is just the greatest comic-strip mom around these days. She’s someone you’d totally love to have as a friend.

I’d have been quite happy to keep the kids out of school and have a “play day” today. Sometimes responsibility is a real drag.

“Never say ‘I should have’”. My grandmother lived to be 94 and felt very strongly about doing the right thing when you have the opportunity. Sometimes they don’t pop up more than once. So if you have the chance to do something fun with the person you love, grab it!

Mark Tatulli is concentrating on Lio. I was hoping there would be second collection of “Heart” comics to purchase but I don’t think that is going to happen.

My favorite boss was a guy who encouraged us to take mental health days when we needed them.

I don’t think we’ve had a new “Heart” since the puppies were born in her hat. Maybe the farewell to the hat was Mark’s farewell to this strip?

Enjoy the bonding days with your little ones. They will grow up before you know it, or are ready for it actually. Heart’s mom is very astute to take a Magnolia day occasionally. That’s what we call a mental health day here.

I prefer Heart MUCH MORE than Lio!

Way to go MOM!! I’ve worked as an educational aide in an elementary school for 25 years. It’s a crying shame what the kids have to go through any more. I’ve watched it slide into the toilet for a long time now. What they all need is more parent bonding time and less robot time. Enjoy Heart!!

Lio and his dad took an illicit snow day last winter – those four should really get together!

I too like Heart much better than Lio – Lio is much more for kiddies – cute but not my style.

This is by far my favourite HOTC strip. It is also my fave of the day.

I have seen this strip at least 4 times! why R most of the HOTC strips repeats?

Why can’t other moms be like this? P.S.: Mark should do reruns of Lio than HOTC.
