We still have an ice cream truck that drives through our neighborhood during the summer. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look all that clean, and the prices are outrageous.
We have ice cream trucks these days in Central Florida, but they have trouble getting customers. So many of the roads are 6-lane; people don’t walk anywhere now, they drive. So the ice cream trucks are going to have to figure out how to join the food truck revolution, and park in a downtown. No more driving through what used to be neighborhoods…
I have a friend that got a job driving an ice-cream truck during the summer. He quit after a couple weeks as he couldn’t even make minimum wage. Seems there were no kids out…they were all inside playing video games.
