The kid is right — and relevant. It’s a little know fact (but well known by Schroeder) that Ludwig could not hit a curveball. He was also prone to a wild throw or two during a game. The good news — he had a killer bicycle kick in futbol.

Beethoven was deaf and did most of his best works unable to hear anything he wrote! Sometimes disabilities can become your greatest asset…

It was irrelevant. Beethoven was a genius whose problems included deafness and a personality that was like nails on a chalkboard – not fingernails 10 penny nails. Charlie Brown is not a genius, not deaf, and has a far more agreeable (possibly too agreeable) personality.

I have a book which tells you about some classical composers.

I found Beethoven’s biography to be most interesting.

I admire Beethoven because he continued to write music despite never hearing what his magnificent pieces sound like.
