The future's here, we have it all,

But could it (gasp!) be oversold?

Aren't all these futures getting old?
No place for a quiet drink in central FL on Sundays. All the clubs hereabouts have 6+ flat-screens and their fans in fronta ’em cheering/booing all afternoon/night.. SmartPhone-type sports channels are frowned upon unless ear-buds are employed. . Retired geezer-jocks and their cheerleader wives …. Ah, the ambiance….
The closest mall to me sets up monster TVs and plenty of cushy seats in one area (near the food court) on major sports events days. Pretty close to a “man cave” eh?
we need electronics which project the light directly onto our retinas, that would give us best resolution and widest screen effect possible, and use the absolute least amount of energy. (unless someone else comes up with an efficient way to affect the optic nerve without producing light in the first place)

I have seen malls with kiddie corners and coffee shops but why is it they don’t have sports bars?

Janis is the designated driver…. Probably more “oorah” in the bar than he gets at home!

Dick Tracy used to watch a tiny screen in the 1960’s. It was silly then, and it is silly today.

I suggest a good book or magazine makes the time fly while spouse is shopping.
