Definitely an urban myth!
Not with us. My mother is incredible. Even all the in-laws adore her. When my sister and I took Mom on our annual week-long trip to the beach, my sisters-in-law were saying we had had her long enough and it was time to bring her home.
My mom & her mom got along great!
My mother and I lived together until she passed away in 2010. We never fought. She was 85 and I was 51. Still miss her every day.
thats probably because they are not talking to each other !
