RJ: what happened in the election yesterday? verne: the country unanimously decided to put its hands over its ears and sing, "la-la-la-I-can't-hear-you? really loud. rj: I don't understand politics at all.
A stroke of genius – a strip with a political message that doesn’t depend on the outcome of the election. No need to stay awake late and rush it off for publishing.
Masterskrain (?), that is true, but remember that Ostupid is still in the White House and he will VETO all the good legislation that has been passed by the House and now will get a hearing in the Senate. Harry Reid was the main cause of the “do nothing congress”.
I wonder if they’ve found a country willing to give Harry Reid political asylum because I don’t think Nevada wants him back!
Best pre election quote was from Joe Biden when he confidently predicted they would keep control of the Senate. But, he’s been wrong about everything else so the election result shouldn’t have surprised anyone…. except Joe Biden of course!
The GOP doesn’t have a big enough majority to override any veto from the President, but so what? They’ll strut and bluster ans squawk IMPEEEECHMENT until they’re blue in their turtle-y faces. All it’ll do is waste time. That’s the legacy of of this congress: wasted time. And blame it on the black man in the White House.
And the rubes will buy it. Like they’re doing here and now.

They might pick someone who is better at his/her job. In US politics? That would be a first!

I, for one, now have a little hope that we can reverse that whole hopey-changey BS.

I think we should have done the La-la-la bit BEFORE the election, so we would’nt have to listen to those stupid political ads.
