What’s the big deal about waiting 2½ minutes before class starts, Caulfield? It’s not like you’re looking forward to the teaching portion of the class anyway.

If Ms Olsen was in LAUSD and using MISIS, dealing with those extra names would take a lot more than 2½ minutes.

One of the main reasons schools have to have accurate attendance is so that when a student’s probation officer calls to see if they showed up for school, the office has accurate information. Seriously.

Back in the mid-80s I was in a college class — the instructor (not prof level) was done in by the classic pseudo-student named DOVER, BEN.

Speak for yourself! It’s not the teacher, it sounds like it’s the schools (administration).

The real problem comes on Parent-Teacher conference day, when she finds herself saddled with an extra hour waiting for Mr &Mrs Zimmerman.
