    There’s a difference between being untruthful and being discreet. That’s what adults learn because they’ve learned it the hard way. Children haven’t learned to make that distinction yet.

    When I was a kid my aunt asked me what I thought of her new hat. I thought it was ugly and said so. That’s when my father pulled me aside and explained the concept of a white lie!
