Very good. That and today’s FBOFW remind me of how my buddy and I would purposely drop quarters on to the edge of the collection plate (the felt only reached so far out) to create a “CLINK” noise that could be heard throughout the church on Sunday morning, earning us dirty looks from our moms.
This is something that didn’t happen but should have. Brought up in the Anglican Church, I endured countless hours sitting through painfully dull sermons and kneeling as the litany droned on. I would have given anything to see a kid launch a toy down the aisle…and I’m sure the adults would have appreciated it, too!
Merry Christmas to all. We, yesterday, attended candlelight service.Merry Christmas to everyone. While others open gifts so my goodness early your Christmas is over with. Ours will be getting started. Enjoy your day. Our children are adults we open in afternoon so we enjoy and relax. Prepare food, company coming, eat, open gifts, relax enjoy a DVD Christmas movie needs to be funny, and then drive looks at lights. Christmas is all day for us.
When was the last time you saw a Protestant church with a service on Christmas Day? I have to be a Catholic once a year in our town. The Christmas Day services (not just a minute at the end of a “Christmas Eve” service) do happen, I guess, but they’re rare.

I’m sure that’s supposed to be a toy chicken, but it’s funnier if you think of it as a really productive hen.

And Lizzie is sending it to the minister in the spirit of giving?

Would have been funnier with a pooping reindeer. I would only let the chicken go at an Easter service.
