“I didn’t see any hate in NG’s comment, unlike yours….”.Then consider:
“Not that they know or cared about cleanliness. It was considered bad and anti Christian for them cleaning up means you are prideful so…”.Note that none of the residents of Id are treated as Christians, but he accused the lack of modern hygiene on Christianity or even minimal cleanliness..The accusation could possibly stand if they were, but nothing indicates they are or that this is the reason for it. Most of the world had no idea about how to clean up, didn’t have soap, didn’t have running water or screens. The knowledgeable people of the time thought bad air caused illness while the doctors spread infection wherever they went..Further, it ignores the fact that the wife definitely DOES care about cleanliness, so it ignores the facts as given to make a point against the evils of Christianity — or so it seems, since the accusation comes out of nowhere..That and a past history from my dear friend, Night-G, could lead to the thought expressed..And let’s be honest, cubefarmer didn’t express hatred when he or she pointed out the trend, just noted that was the take NG took on the matter.

Seems like that sanitation mode would just lead to burnt-on food. Yuck!

Dogs and Cats licking plates does not clean them. I know what they licked before that!

Dogs licking plates that will go through the dishwasher with the chlorine based soap? The pre-wash. Saves a lot of water not to be rinsing them off.

Whatever is in dog-spit makes it impossible to remove with just water, hot or otherwise. Some sort of chemical attack is in order.

Wrong universe, Night-G.The wizard isn’t Christian, Blanch DOES want the dishes clean, Henry doesn’t use accelerants.

Paper plates and bowls make things a tad easier. Once they dry, they help start the wood stove.

Seems to me that “sanitizing mode” would be the better term here.
