Does this mean that we’re NOT gonna be treated as liberators?-Is terrorism NOT in its last throes?-Oh, and when does the invasion of Iraq start paying for itself?

From the halls of Montezuma (a phony war on Mexico for territory), to the shores of Tripoli (an action to protect American Corporate interests), the Marines have been around for a long time. We don ’t need as big an excuse as ISIL to go in and start bombing.

It does seem to upset armchair chickenhawks if we DO take folks out selectively, instead of “shock and awe” on an entire populace we see nice flash-bang, and know where our trillions of tax dollars have gone, and of course, will continue to go, for more “flash and bang”!

I get the sense that the President is allowing matters against ISIS to drift in the same way that he has allowed his foreign policy to drift for the past six years. I very much hope that I am wrong.

@Night-Gaunt49“GWB lied certainly as much as his father did to invade and wreck and kill Iraqis.”What do you mean as much as his father? George H W Bush stopped at the boarder. I looked down on him at the time as a wimp for that, but the aftermath G W Bush’s invasion/occupation forced me to realize his father made the right decision in not deposing Saddam. Perhaps I misunderstood the meaning of your reply?
