What is Gil thinking? A huge team that can pound the ball on the ground will wear down the defense, not the other way around. Has anyone ever heard a coach say, “We just couldn’t get our offense off the field and they got tired.”?
Sign Man, or should I say Benedict Arnold with the Pius sign in the stands! The assistant coach in P3 is cruelly demonstrating that he has two arms – that’s just hurtful.
Pius on the verge of a blowout – this is exactly why there should be separate private school and public school playdowns in whatever state Milford is in!
Disappointed in Neal & Rod for not devoting a panel to the halftime show, complete with Pope-mobile. Anybody think this game might come down to a “Hail Mary” at the end?
In all reality , if it wasn t for J Rods summer workouts , Milford wouldn t be in a position to wear Pius down Clear eyes, True hearts , Can t be beat . Our Lady of Victory pray for us,Free Bitsy Twill
You know I wonder who performed at halftime? You know how those older groups still hang around and take whatever they can get! (You did see my comment to you late Saturday I hope)
Yes, that was and still is my guess. Still think something odd will happen like an injury or Jarrod(e) turnover being key.And we now complete our second week without Bitsy(e). Hopefully Mopped Up Thorp can help alleviate our sadness.

No fair! Doctor Xavier is sitting on the Pius bench, mentally controlling the game!

I’m betting a lateral pass to the halfback, quarterback sneaks into the flat for the game-winning touchdown. Tru(e) that!

Please-Milford hasn’t had a state title in any sport since 2001-02!

C’mon Larks, lets wipe those pious smiles off their faces!

Here’s my prediction at this point: Milford puts up a heroic struggle but barely loses this one. Next year: championship in True’s senior year.

Like they do in baseball now……… does the game MVP get a pious in the face? …….. sorry.

I’m banking on Tru blowing out a knee and JRod leading the Mudlarks to victory. Tru will not make it to Miami (OH) though.

Looks like Gil’s half-time adjustments didn’t change things much. So much for the Mudlarks’ special teams.
