Anybody else notice Hallmark Channel, and maybe UP, are already showing their FOURTH repeats of their holiday shows for the season? ENOUGH, ALREADY! There is STILL almost a month left, people. There is such a thing as overload, and it doesn’t win you friends.

I can almost understand why Christmas sales, etc., are pushed ahead. Stores need that rush of customers as quickly as possible. We’ve pulled out our Christmas decorations, exterior lights, etc., but are holding off until next week to put them up. It takes a while to do this, and I’m not as young (read: fast) as I once was. It looks so pretty when it’s done, and so drab after it all comes down. Have a little Christmas charity, folks….

There are 360 shopping days for Christmas, assuming stores close, as they should, on Easter, July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years! Isn’t this enough?.Oh yeah, 2016 is a leap year, so everyone can relax just a bit. You will have one more day to express your greed…
