I’ve never understood the No Fun League’s insistence on interviews. Some guys are uncomfortable doing them, some will say the wrong thing & others are just plain boring.Let those who want to talk, talk & let the rest alone.Nothing worse than a post game set of interviews, where the coach & some players just say some pre-programmed slop on how they came to play, etc.
I bet that if Mr. Hinds drew this cartoon a few days later than he did, that character would have had darker skin and Richard Sherman dreadlocks falling out the back of that bag after the stunt he pulled with Doug Baldwin last week. BTW, looks more like the original Seahawks logo in the background which I think is better than, ironic to say here, the current cartoony one. And I agree with @strictures about the NFL’s policy on interviews, not to mention how Sherman and Baldwin lampooned it before the 49ers game,
We have to go out there and give 110% today. We’re taking it one game at a time. We’ll get ‘em next time. I couldn’t have done it without my teammates. We really didn’t show up tonight. At the end of the day we came up a little short.
Marshawn definitely follows the beat of his own drummer, but he’s generally well-liked in Seattle and has (typically) very quietly done a lot for inner-city kids through his foundation. There’s more than meets the eye with this guy.
Being a fan of irony, I love all the ex-jocks who refused to talk to the press when playing but are now paid commentators and interviewers for their sport.

Movie stars have to do pressers for their new films also, it’s standard PR in the entertainment business.

Reminds me of when the Saints fans wore bags over their heads and the team was labeled the ’Aint’s.

How in the H can the NFL fine a player because he won’t talk to the media? Can’t imagine that is a clause in their contracts.

The NFL will also fine a player for wearing gear not sanctioned by the NFL. Same happens in FIFA.
