My ex asked me once to go with her to the fabric store; I’m an artist so I knew more about color, patterns, etc. She on the other had knew very little. Soon I started to express my opinion and give her direction. Other women there overheard and started to ask me questions… that was the last and only time I was invited. Earl you are my hero, go to the fabric store and make yourself the biggest newsanse you can.

I can fully understand her wish to go to the fabric store, but I would certainly never ask my husband to go with me. Or to a book store either.

My husband always wants me to go to the hardware store with him. Sound familiar?? Also, if she did take the bus, is she capable of hauling a bunch of heavy fabric when dingbutt is available to drive?

Then give her money for the bus & drive home as fast as you can without her.

As the kids say, “You’re harshing my mellow.” Same thing.

Why not drop in? You might find the conversation more interesting than feeling out of place in a fabric store.

I cannot imagine why you would drag someone shopping who doesn’t want to go. The guy doesn’t want to go, and then the woman complains about him not loving it. These are often the same women who complain about the guy doing guy things like watching football.

I think Earl is doing amazingly well

Opal does a lot for Earl, cooking, cleaning, laundry. She keeps the house very clean. Earl take her where ever she need to go. Don’t forget she bakes for you and Nelson :) Make her happy Earl, she is a good lady.
