I must be reading too many comics. Fruitcake jokes are getting really old.

As one of the 5 people in this world that like fruitcake, I find this strip offensive. It’s ok, I’ll have a slice of fruitcake & get over it. ;-)

A well made fruitcake is a treat, but it’s far more common to find the cheap, poorly made ones. A good, home-made one doesn’t last long enough to become a door stop.

There was a TV show, Life After People in which they depicted how everything would decay and fall apart if the humans were to suddenly disappear.In one episode they theorized that unopened fruitcakes would last hundreds of years.

Fruitcake Counseling…

In theory, a fruitcake should be good. It’s fruit, it’s cake, what’s not to love? In reality, it’s like mixing ammonia and bleach. The two things just don’t go together.

After they grind it they could use it as an asphalt additive to increase street durability.
