Is Arlo planning a trip for next Christmas?Maybe to Notree Atoll?

Not sure about No-Tree, but the ones I was on out in the Marshall Islands had trees (coconut palms). They were just very lacking in altitude above sea level.

I’ve always wanted to visit Nobikini Atoll…..

Our little 24" table-top tree has served us well for 18 Christmases now. It isn’t the size it is the symbolism.

God says NO to Christmas trees…

My grandparents had a ceramic tabletop tree at some point. I figured it was an age-related thing. Lighten up, Arlo.

My big complaint is that tree farms trim their trees into perfect upside down ice cream cones, so they don’t look like trees, and are harder to decorate.

Buy Janis a lot of gifts, wrap them and put them in the middle of the floor with the little tree on top of them. Next day, you’ll have a new 8’ tree in it’s place with all the gifts under it.

So having different opinions negates the right to free speech? Do like I do, smile, move on and ignore them.

Some friends of mine did the small tree thing. They ended up with a bunch of them all over the house.

Ok, Arlo, next year put up the biggest tree you can find.

Sure many churches are filled with them, but that’s between them and the Lord.

Don’t worry about it, Arlo. After my wife and I downsized our dwelling about ten years ago, we put up a tree for maybe the first two years. Then we went to an artificial tree. Then, for perhaps the next five or six years, we put up no tree. This year we put up a tabletop tree. Just live with it, man.

The word God is (likely) derived from the word ǵhau(ə). That does not make the word “God” mean the exact same thing as the word it is derived from.
