You notice Joy and Burt have comfy chairs, but company has to sit on hard ones. That is so that they won’t stay long and if they don’t stay long they won’t eat a lot of the Penny’s food.

Let’s see, don’t help me. Wasn’t it Penny or something? Altho I can’t imagine why Dale would want them, since we know they were manufactured during the last Ice Age and sold at the dollar store—at a discount.

Burl’s feeling the rapid onset of panic. He well knows that Dale will eat on, until there’s nary a chip (or anything else he likes) in the house, and he will be forced to do without or heft his butt out of the permanent impression in that chair and drive to the dollar store (parking in the handicap space, because, God knows, if being out of chips isn’t a handicap, what is?) to score some 3-pound bags of chips so covered in preservatives that he can eat them in spite of the Super Bowl XLVI promo on the back.

I think MOST of the food sold at The Dollar Store is out of date.

That Burl: Like the refrain of a certain Beatles song: “All through the day, I, me, mine, I, me, mine, I, me, mine!!”
