I know of some dogs who would do exactly that. Course look at what some people feed their dogs, in some cases they eat better than the owners do, which is rather sad when the owners are complaining about not being able to afford to pay for the food they eat yet their going to the grocery store and buying expensive cuts of meat out of the meat department for their dog.

I knew of some kids who did exactly that—eat dogfood. Usually in the toddler set, until mum caught them, but some as old as 7. I remember seeing 3 kids sitting around the kitchen floor in their parent’s absence eating Gravy Train straight out of the bag!

I had a friend who used to walk home with me and used to come inside to play and nibble on Little Friskies (cat food/kibble). Actually, it smelled pretty good, but I personally never tried it.

Dogs don’t eat baby food, and babies don’t eat dog food. (But I remember one of my pet cats eating baby food!)

Being a dog, of course, Snoopy has every urge to go after human food – Schroeder simply gave him the justification.

Actually dog treats aren’t that bad…

@neverenoughgoldI would eat a Milk Bone or two when I gave them to my dog….and I wasn’t all that young, either, I just liked ’em!

I love these strips! Schroeder’s confusion is cute, why would Snoopy eat that food when he has this great stuff here in the bowl?

Rule #1 (and #2 and #3) of dog stewardship: “NEVER come between a dog and its food.”
