    Take it in stride, Sophie…you are just their giant pretend prey. I bet they slept after this spurt of play. I discovered that honeysuckle branches or leaves have the opposite effect of catnip. It sends Half-Time into a drooling, lolling, limp bag of fur

    My kitten did that too. Pounce on the dog until he change place then she take his place near the fire. My dog was nine when we got the kitten. It’s the same pair who team up for cookies. Capucine the cat, lay on her back to open the pantry door, Brutus the dog, tumble and shake the box until the cookies spill. I still got the pictures. We lost them both the same year unfortunatly.

    Oh dear…and night time is usually a cat’s “bewitching hour” as we call in our family (when a cat is at its most active).
