Danae: So here's what I'm thinking about a better system than the school bus... Ned: No. Not again. Danae: But...but...wait... Ned: NO! Danae: Maybe this time will be different. Ned: And MAYBE I'll win the lottery. Danae: But you never play the lottery. Ned: Exactly. I already know how it ends. Danae: ! *Music note* Lucy: I'm having a hard time believing he actually said "yes" to this... Danae: Well, technically, he said "maybe", which I take to really mean,"go for it".

Someone fell to his death from a zipline here in Central Florida recently. This is not a better system, DanaeâŠ

Broom-Hilda is visiting with her old school bus in todayâs âtoon. Maybe Danae would have been happier if her school bus had been like that oneâŠ

Wonderful, the logic of children. âNo, no, we are only shopping for what we need!â âBut we NEED lollipopsâ.

Pretty much my âlottery theoryâ as well: the odds of winning donât change significantly regardless of whether I buy a ticket or not. If I donât buy a ticket, there is still some sort of possibility of a remote, rich relative dying and leaving me a fortune; the winning ticket could get dropped and blown by the wind into my car; or ⊠well, you get the picture.

Hm, I may have to re-think my logic. I seem to share a philosophy not unlike Buckyâs.

Maybe never respond to a precocious kid. Especially one named Danae.

Death, or at least broken bones, will soon follow.

One thing is certain: a horse is not a creature of the air.

Hopefully horse sense in the case will translate as âIâm not jumping off this roof, zip line or not. I donât see how Iâm going to stop before I get to the tree at the other endâ.

QuietDragon, They started the lottery in Michigan in the â70s A new one comes out every week. I figure that every week I donât by one, I win a dollar. Because Iâve only ever bought one, Iâve âwonâ hundreds of dollars over the yearsâŠ.44 years times 52 weeks means I ahead $2,288âŠâŠâŠ..

âI like to play the lottery on occasion. I see the odds as 50/50âŠ. either I win, or I donât."~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Totally illogical logic, but beautiful in itâs concept.

Another thoughtâŠhow is she gonna get BACK?Zip lines ONLY work in one direction. Gravity works like thatâŠ-Read todayâs âBelieve it or Notâ. Just eat a lot of beans prior to traveling in the ascending direction.
Hunter7 about 10 years ago
Zip Lines have a max. load limit. Danae may be ok, but how much does the average miniature horse weigh?
