I signed into a site the other day whose restrictions on passwords were ridiculous (must be between 6 and 10 characters and no punctuation and have one upper case, one lower case and one number). Yeah, why not also make it a requirement that it be a word in the English dictionary while we’re at it? I used PassWord12. If they weren’t going to be serious about their password policy, why should I?
