Because it worked so well in England. They have no crime and no terrorists or anything like that and their healthcare is top notch. Just look at their dentistry if you don’t believe me.
Its called “Universal Healthcare” here in Canada! And yes; it is NOT free; and it’s not perfect; but at least everyone is taken care of; NOT just the politicians in Ottawa (or Washington D.C. as in the case of the USA). Even Russia has universal healthcare! And don’t even get me started on Big-Pharma’s version of healthcare; that’s more like “chronic-sickness” and uncaring “care”!!!!
This is one “ugly American” who’s getting just a wee bit miffed at having my country bad-mouthed by citizens of other nations. We Americans know what’s wrong with our country, and he’ll be gone in two more years, thank you very much.
Health care for all citizens. Of course it’s not free. No one should be expected to work for nothing, even those in jobs that actually produce nothing, like doctors or nurses. So of course all citizens have to pay for it, one way or another, and to some extent even if they cannot afford to pay the full cost of providing it to them. BUT ……. HEALTH CARE FOR ALL CITIZENS! Where’s the problem?
I’m all for the health care, but don’t touch my guns. They are too easy for the criminals and Crazy’s to get. The only person you can depend on to protect you and yours is yourself.What I would like is for the gov to stop mismanaging and pocketing our tax dollars. I would like to see lobbists become outlawed. I would like to see corporations held accountable. Big pharma and the health care industries need to be reined in. Maybe then my health insurance wouldn’t cost as much as my house pmt.

Ummmmm … NO! Nothing is free, and when nothing is free, someone with less always thinks he can take from someone with more, so defense systems are needed. I’m happy to share what I have. But the truth is, some people do not want to share — that applies to both givers and takers — some don’t want to give to the needy and some people feel entitled to take more. No guns? That never stopped anyone from killing another, so a new world order won’t bring utopia.
