Snow White?

I’m pretty sure Sleeping Beauty did that, too. You know, before she took a nap.

Definitely Snow White.She sang to the forest creatures…. And she was usually surrounded by bluebirds…. when I was a little girl I wanted to be followed by bluebirds like Snow White.

Later, Cinderella sings with birds and mice…but by then, they were a bit more anthropomorphic…more like … well… like Disney cartoon birds.

Are you saying Disney cartoons are for the birds? (j/k)

Even Disney had fun with the “singing with creatures,” mocking it mercilessly in the under-appreciated “Enchanted.”

My brother calls bird seed “self-help cat food.”

I have a (now banned) copy of Disney’s Song of the South where real people sing with flocks of cartoon bluebirds and it’s wonderful. I recall seeing it in a theater when I was a small child.

Our cat is always bugging me to put bird and squirrel food in what she calls our “traps”.

The birds would be “self-help cat food” if she doesn’t get that bird feeder up off the ground.

iwould let the squirrel have some too.
