    Grandma, by the time that will be a valid option those things will be like rotary dial phones and Kodachrome Cameras. At least in the eyes of the grandchildren.

    Maybe by then Rotary Phones and Film Camers will be back since Spyware, NSA snooping, and new Taxes will have rendered the Internet unuseable!

    the tones for phone DTMF haven’t changed, and it’s funny pulsing the line with the hook to simulate pulse-dialing breaks still works here in the Chicago area

    Pulse dial phones still work almost everywhere, but since they quit charging for “Touch-tone” TM service, nobody makes them any more. Some of today’s phones are almost as tough, though.
