The con artists got conned. LOL Love how this arc is going. Wonder what Lil and Chubby are going to do now to recoup their continued losses. This is a hoot! They are going to run, not walk away when Slim and Clovia get back home. ;-)

Well, it’s like Kenny said. “Every hand’s a winner, and every hand’s a loser, and the best that you can hope for is to…” well, you know.

We haven’t been told yet whether or not they bet the garage.

Nothing is worse for incompetent gamblers than a big lucky win. They think that they have found the secret and screw up the rest of their life looking for the next big win. The secret of gambling is to bet competently, win steadily and don’t lose big.

Just like the old Hanna Barbera cartoons: the major violence was kept off-screen.

I knew that would happen. I want to think that Slim’s wife called her and told her to go over there and hustle them.

I would have liked to see them getting beat for a few hands. This was the wrong time not to drag this endless story on. Figures they skip something I would have enjoyed seeing!

Yup, the old reverse bamboozle! They couldn’t have bet the garage because they don’t own it. Even if they had tried to, it wouldn’t have been legitimate.
