    I don’t think gluten free is for weight lose. and if you like a hearty meal bread there are several that are quite good. When I found out that I got bad symtoms it wasn’t that hard to switch. but I do miss a good croisant.

    Gluten free bread also contains carbs. Gluten free does not mean carb free. If you want to remove carbs, you need to change the flour to soya flour, or almond meal, or flax meal, or oat fibre, replace sugar with stevia or splenda. You can even add gluten to give it a stretchy texture. The gluten and the carb are completely different things. Gluten free is much easier since it is a huge fad right now. You can buy tons of gluten free products. Actual low carb bread is more difficult to come by. You really have to make it yourself.
