I had no idea that ostriches are so easily shocked.

I’m the one who’s shocked. Ziggy? I could see Francis from “Momma”… even Rolf Fusco, but Ziggy?

Poor nighthawks. It’s going to kill him when he finds out that Teresa cheated on him with, uh, Ziggy. This is scandalous.

I heard it was Donald Duck, Teresa was looking for somebody with sass.

Ziggy?! Has Teresa sunk so low that she’s dating Ziggy (the little creep; he’s lurking in the corner of the strip)? Say it isn’t so, Teresa of the Frog Blog!

Nudity is actually a nice way to introduce yourself. I wish more women embraced that idea.

On the plural of platypus, from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_plural

platypus platypuses (same as octopus: platypi occurs but is etymologically incorrect, and platypodes, while technically correct, is even rarer than octopodes)

So “Baby Platypuses” on the blog is correct (are correct?). Give your whipping boy a pat on the behind, Teresa. It was a good no-call on his part.

But what is the plural of the “mouse” used as a computer input device? The plural for the small rodent is called an “ablaut plural.” I didn’t know that until Teresa enticed me to look up playtypus and I couldn’t stop reading. Everything I know, I learned on the Frog Blog!

I haven’t read “Home Taxidermy for Pleasure and Profit” yet.

But I do have a Betty Crocker cook book that showed me how to stuff a turkey.

He believed all that? Ostriches will swallow anything.

Bdelloid was my old maid great aunt on my mother’s side (Aint ‘Dell we called her). Even with her tragic disability (she was born without a spine), she lived a full life. She had a large collection of foreign DNA, which she kept in empty Honest Scotch snuff glasses on the top shelf of her Hoosier cabinet.

Hot dry summers were particularly hard on her, but when the rains finally came she always managed to pick up the pieces and put her life back together again.

I was just viewing the blog while David Bowie’s “Heroes” came on my iTunes…

For some reason, I ran the gamut of emotions during that three minutes…
