Unfortunately, to provide continued climate control and irrigation inland, it is necessary to occasionally shake up the molecules of sea water and expand its ability to provide vapor. In the present configuration, it cannot provide enough vapor to overcome the cool and thin atmosphere enough to force inland precipitation to offset gravitational return of water to the sea. Much of the vapor produced falls back to its source seas before being forced inland by further vapor pressure behind it due to the lack of atmospheric warming mostly caused by a low evaporation rate caused by cool seas.We once had continental glaciers and the Sahara region had fresh water lakes many times larger than the Great Lakes of North America. But the world cooled and the balance of water motion is more due to gravitation and less to warming now, so the inland regions are drying out and the seas rising, though most of the sea rise happened seven to nine thousand years ago, before the world as we know it came into existence.

Ok this is a true story, The kids I played with told me a tall, blonde woman in a white dress used to come through their ceiling and take them for a ride in an airplane, The could see the whole earth from the airplane, And this was in 1947 or 48, long before UFOs hit the scene!

Similarly, adding energy to carbonaceous substances in the presence of oxygen can release stored energy and carry soot and ash, by-products of combustion, into the air, where they can remain aloft for some time, reducing sunlight reaching the surface. They may also be deposited on the surface, as was Iridium after the Chicxulub asteroid strike, and mix with precipitation to leave a residue that can form a film on external surfaces open to the weather.
