arsmall: i’m sure lila meant “where is she” as in “what room?” the authorities tend to frown on people wandering about hospitals solo.

I do like that Lila has taken a more serious tone in the stories lately – the gags are fine and dandy, but a comic strip can only do so much of the same thing.

I never read “Funky Winkerbean,” but if “Lila” could be half as successful, I’d be thrilled :-) My goal for Lila is to be a serial strip with ups and downs, but to keep it funny all the way through. I hope you, the readers, feel this works! Happy Friday, everyone, and have a great weekend!

I don’t read Funky Winkerbean either, but I do read it’s sister strip, Crankshaft.
