Minnie Pearl there will give you a shot upside the head. She was hopin’ to get away with at least one of those hats, claiming that she wore it in. Burl will try on at least 10 hats, and he hasn’t washed his hair since 1985, when he got stuck in the car wash and had to walk out.And Joy was planning on trying on the nylons, just to see if they fit you know. They will be highly insulted when Mr, Finkle escorts them all out. Alas, another store that blacklisted the Penny’s.

Right 2Old…I was thinking pretty much the same thing….

He wants her autograph all right….on a credit card receipt.

I was going to say on a check….but then I realised no one in Crustwood will take a check from any of them.

And just for good measure, most places refuse checks from anyone named “Penny” or “Darwin.”

Some great-great-great-grandson of the famed geneticist himself might be surprised one day, when passing through, to find his check refused at the Crustwood Travelodge Gift Shoppe…

But then again, were he to meet Verla Darwin, he’d not only understand,

he’d renounce all belief in his great-great-great-grandfather’s discoveries about genes and heredity.

Poor Mr. Finkle. He has to follow them around to avoid major inventory loss, but at the cost to his olfactories! Maybe a HAZMAT suit.

“Penny, Lord Of The Idiots” is not a highly sought-after entry in most people’s autograph books!!
