She looks pretty when she smiles. I hope someone took a picture because it was a once in a lifetime event.

I hate the whole time change phenomenon. Messes me up for at least a week. As to weather, well it is a little late in the season to still have 18" of snow on the ground.

Here we are in Daylight Stupid Time. My goats donā€™t get it, my chickens donā€™t get it and my pets donā€™t get it. I just get to go to work in the dark. Fine.

I prefer the time at this setting. Iā€™ll soon be able to read my book while walking home from work again.

Somewhere there is a brightly lit vault where all that saved daylight is kept. Iā€™m going to rob it, because I certainly havenā€™t seen my share!

Schadenfreude? Save some daylight and enjoy until you havta pay it back; think some of us have been in debt for decades. Danae is lucky.

Yesterday (in Los Angeles) there was a total of 11 hours, 40 minutes of daylight. Today there will be a total of 11 hours, 42 minutes of daylight. So what have we saved?

ā€œWaitā€¦ Danae is actually HAPPY about having to wake up an hour earlier????ā€~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~No, she is just happy for Spring to be here. Course, itā€™s not here yet, so sheā€™s just confused ā€” like the rest of us.

I always get caught off guard by the time change. If my phoneā€™s clock didnā€™t autoupdate, Iā€™d be late to everything for at least a couple of days.

Now that I am retired, Iā€™ve stopped changing my clocks. I just leave them on Summer Time all year long.
