Looks like Foodar is going through a Purple Haze Phase.

Yep – grapes are toxic to cats (as are lilies – that was a $2000 vet bill)

Reminds me of Aziz Ansari’s 50 Cent Grapefruit Story … Google it, watch it on youtube.

Dogs and green grapes, the latest dope:

Summary: It’s complicated. Some dogs are at risk, others not.

Strawberries (or at least the tops), on the other hand, seem to have a similar effect to catnip on my cat.

I knew a cat who was crazy for watermelon rinds. Would walk right through you to get to them.

Now he has me confused. Grape is a color, purple is a flavor.

I had a cat that loved all types of leafy greens. She also used to chew on dry spaghetti. Had another cat who loved Angel food cake.

I once was eating an apple near my cats who had never seen one before. One was so determined that she wanted my “human food” that she eventually convinced herself to eat a tiny piece. Another smelled deeply the sliced apple and jumped back in terror.

Toxic to cats too. That’s why Foodar can’t detect it.

Grapes are toxic to cats. Maybe Foodar’s radar protects him from toxins.

So many pets, so much food, so little time… I had a dog who would eat the grapes right off the vine, he seemed to be chewing on them, but he spit out the skins – which are the actual toxic part – & swallowed the rest. Did the same with popcorn; sucked off the butter, spit out the popcorn (which I had to clean up from the back patio…).Had a cat who adored sweet peas, & also mandarin orange slices! Have several now who will rip your arm off for some pork (which is not found in any cat foods or treats!), & one of those adores ramen noodles. Our dog will eat cantaloupe, sometimes honeydew…but will not touch watermelon! All 6 of our most recent cats detest seafood – go figure! One of our current ones is nuts about elk though!
