I’m not sure I’d want to meet a preacher who misunderstood both the Bible and paleontology (not archaeology, in this case) to that extent…
I really need to put up an essay on one of my blogs or Web sites about this issue. Then I can direct interested parties to it and not wrangle the issue here.
Johanan: check out “Reason’s to Believe” or Koontz’ Breathless of a nice slap in evolution’s traditional face. Don’t worry there are plenty of evo’s on YouTube taking up their fight for their religion.
I’m on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Everyone has signed up for clean-up, but hoping it doesn’t come on-shore. Dauphin Island has already gotten tar balls. That’s close to Alabama’s shore.

Actually, only thousands of years; but why be picky? The real issue is, live mammoths rampaging through the streets!

He’d look like that if he was swimming in the Gulf of Mexico now.

Come on up to Montana and see the dinosaurs……………
we’ve got lots and lots……

I would love to see those dinosauers. There’s a good number in Utah, too, and quite a lot of coprolite.

They held their breath for that long?

They sank into the tar long before civilization existed. After coming out again, the first thing they said was, “Hi, Broomie!”

I wondered if anyone would pick up on that. That’s what my license plate holder says, too.
