I have to say, the joke falls flat. This paints Adam as such a complete moron that he shouldn’t even be able to put his pants on or eat without the help of a nurse’s aid.

He’s a soccer parent, apparently has been for a while, and would therefore know at least the “kicking the ball” part of it.

Someone tell me doesn’t even watch soccer on TV, let alone rugby.

I think it’s wonderful. Don;t be so literal. Enjoy the moment.

I agree, Mrs. L., though teens will try it too. My son tried it with kitchen duty, (nothing clean, made a mess..)but I told him that he would get better with practice…starting that same night. ;)

It is an over the top moment ” the unveiling of the unicycle”, but too much pizazz for a novice coach but just right for American tastes and hence both puzzling and hilariously Adam– our first Everyman with Pizzazz. .
