Margueritem, I still remember, “Pluck your magic twanger, Froggy!!” Every time Smilin’ Ed said that, my brother and I would howl. Preteens have dirty minds, too.

If I remember right, John Donne composed the famous line that includes the phrase, “…for whom the bell tolls.”

I always assumed the characters’ names were Frankie and Annette cuz they look/act so “Beach Party Bingo.” Doin’ the Time Warp.

Just to be a pain in the derriere… John Donne was done (deceased) in 1631. I often notice little smirches–helps make me a bigger smirch.

grapfhics I always thought of nebbish as a derrogatory term in Yiddish.
