’Tis a long list alright.

My medications are easy to list: Aspirin for headaches, low dose aspirin for blood pressure.

Being a nurse for centuries, the longest list we see is the past/current conditions. Meds are easy compared to that.

In my case it’s past injuries and repairs.

The best prescription I’ve gotten was “Keep active and eat healthy” and it’s working.

I just put, “check chart”.

You ain’t lyin’! My wife’s on so much stuff, I have to carry a folded card printed up from a 1/4-sheet of card stock.

There are cases where a physician will request a “drug holiday” for a patient; always while under hospital care of course. This is usually when a patient is taking so many drugs, there are interactions between certain meds..The purpose is to reintroduce some drugs to the patient and observe the changes. In most cases, the patient can be released taking fewer drugs that before, and actually feeling better.
