Something weird is going on with GoComics. The site says that this comic (and many others) didn’t update today… and yet here it is! Curiouser and curiouser!
I wonder why there where so few comments on gocomics. I’m on CST it’s 10:45am.
Gertie I would call the police about animals they may take you away. They may not be real.
For those who waited and waited for Monday’s postings to update - the Houston Chronicle usually gets Monday’s strips posted a lot earlier - including Gasoline Alley.
For those who are missing DINETTE SET - the Houston Chronicle appears to still be posting Dinette Set - but the Houston Chronicle does NOT post any comics on Sunday.

The Houston Chronicle still posts most everything in black and white.
For those who prefer to check out Gasoline Alley in color - the newspapers which have been posting COMICS KINGDOM have recently picked up the TRIBUNE comics and they are ALL in color - including DAILY Brenda, Love Is, etc.
One of the newspapers which has been posting the COMICS KINGDOM collection is the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel

The Denver Post is another newspaper which posts the COMICS KINGDOM collection. Quite a few local newspapers seem to have picked up the COMICS KINGDOM collection, including the TRIBUNE comics. So you might want to check with your local newspaper to see if they have decided to post the COMICS KINGDOM collection on their web pages. The Comics Kingdom collection has the advantage of allowing you to VOTE for your favorite comics - but, at this point at least - there have been NO provisions made for a comments section. Although the Denver Post DID send out an E-mail, inviting me to choose a “comics” avatar - so quite possibly technology for allowing comments on comics is in the works!
I don’t know how much luck Gertie would have calling animal control about the wild animals in Walt’s yard. In recent days, we have spotted a coyote and an African pit viper in our yard. When we called the animal control people, they told us that if we caught them, we could call animal control and they would come out and take them off of our hands - but they were not really eager to come out and capture the animals themselves! Last winter a group of kids kept insisting that they had seen a alligator or a croc in a pond in Boulder. But every time that they called the Boulder animal control people, the animal control people were so sure that the kids were just pulling their legs that they just blew it all off. Later, a couple of adult fishermen not only spotted the alligator, but they managed to get it trapped in a net. The animal control people were totally surprised when they finally arrived to take the alligator off the fishermen’s hands. But - the bottom line was that the fishermen DID need to trap the alligator themselves - the animal control people were NOT going to rush out to the pond and grab the alligator themselves!

Jackdohany, that must be why there are no comments on most of the comics prior to about 10:15 AM EDT today.

Maybe Upton O. Goode is building an ark, and his passengers have wandered off.
