I finally had to let Moose out of the bathroom last night. He cried and he banged the door so hard I couldn’t stand it. He used his litter box quite a bit so I know he’s peeing again. He still has to get his meds for a week and he is so not happy about it.

A lesson learned for Chesney??? On those rare occasions that I am up late I have noticed that some comics are in by 9 or 10 but I would never read them the night before! Morning coffee, FB, comics and jigsaw sudoku in that order or my morning is shot!! Glad to hear that Moose is getting better. Blue Kitty’s little head is quite often wet which tells me he is drinking from my dripping bathtub faucet, along with Orange Kitty. A friend has offered to replace everything for $20 labor and a batch of cookies (plumbers and other repairmen here charge TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS just to show up!). Looks like I need to buy some kind of fountain for the kitties… Perhaps on Amazon?

Happy Caturday, everyone. Queen, hope Moose will be OK. Finished baby blanket for stepson’s first baby. Started knitting an afghan for my great-granddaughter, going to be in shades of pink (multi-colour, dark and pale) and showcase three different cable patterns.

I think Annie knows these kitties better than they know themselves…@LadyKat – Your pink afghan sounds lovely; I’m a knitter too. (Cables and other textures are my faves!)

I live in the Pacific Northwest but I go to bed at 10:00. I get up at 6:00 which is soon enough to read comics. I don’t care if I’m last. 2old – your pictures are laugh out loud funny! I knit, but I like crochet better. Actually cross-stitch is my favorite thing to do.

jessegooddoggy: if you can’t get to a pet store, then amazon is the best place to get a fountain as long as it’s free shipping. If and when you order, make sure the filters are not too costly. And get plenty! They can get clogged pretty fast with more than one cat/dog using it. You can usually wash the filter a couple of times before needing to replace it.

QueenI’m glad Moose is feeling better. Some diluted no salt chicken broth may get him to drink more, It helped Max get over a bladder infection. Vet said cats don’t drink enough.

miscreants: ty for the info on Dr Foster and PetCO. I didn’t know that. Maybe Fosters will come down in prices on things. I always check them but they are so expensive.

2Old: that’s why the vet told us to get a fountain. They all drink a lot more. I used bottled water hoping the filters will last longer. The water here is yucky and I won’t touch it.

I read all the reviews and ordered one plus all the filters through Amazon. Expensive! It had better last…

Meowlin-I did find the pump at Petco once-but I haven’t seen it there lately.

Oh Chesney….you will regret being so mean to sweet little Annie.@2Old….that orange kitty begging Do Not Leave Me is acting just like my twins….Oliver and Tyler….except they are white with grey tiger strip markings.@RoseRabbit…..so wonderful that you had opportunity to meet with Gweedo and his friends….another TC connection.@Queen….hope Moose continues to improve. I change the water in 3 bowls at least twice a day and noticed that the cats and dog immediately drink. Can’t have a fountain anymore as Oliver has a water fixation and plays with it.

Queen of America, did you see my comment last night about Neutered Male Syndrome in cats? Our vet said, and I think I said this last night, too lazy to go back and look, LOL, that since we found the bros at such a young age, that could be a possibility in the future. That was when Little Bit, at about I forget how many weeks now, had a problem peeing. Youngest son noticed it first on a SATURDAY. Called my vet, and he got, again, RIGHT BACK to me.

Think I mentioned this here or somewhere around here at the site, that we first found Little Bit on Father’s Day under the Catalpa Tree. I called my Vet, who is a father, and it was Father’s Day, he called me back 20 mins. later. His first question was, “What have you gotten yourself into now”? laughing as he asked. There’s a reason he has been our Vet for oh, about 25 years now.
