Try telling that to Chicago, it is like arguing with a brick wall. The Cubs have Wrigley Field, the White Sox have U.S. Cellular Field (formerly Comiskey Park) and the Bears have Soldier Field. The tax payers have the bills for Cellular and Soldier. Some day the tax payers will have the bill for a new Wrigley. Meanwhile, Chicago closed 50, that’s right FIFTY, public schools. Go figure.

I give you the Kansas City – Omaha Kings, which I remember from my youth (for 1 year) outside KC.

The old ABA had three different regional franchises splitting home games among three or four cities: The Virginia Squires (Richmond, Norfolk, Hampton and Roanoke), Carolina Cougars (Greensboro, Raleigh and Charlotte) and the Texas Chaparrals (now the Spurs) for one year. It never worked in any of those situations because teams couldn’t afford full-time staff in more than one city and attendance (such as there was) usually suffered in the others.

The Bills were shared with Toronto until a couple years ago, and I remember going back further that the Packers played some games in Milwaukee

I remember the Pack playing at least one game every year in Milwaukee back in the 60s. I spent most of the next 40 years out of the country. I did not know they stopped. Any idea what year that was?
