An overpriced watch that will “need” to be upgraded every year because they come up with some little improvement that will “change the world”? Surely people have learned by now that it’s all smoke and mirrors.
…as a Apple fanboy, I do want to dismiss the watch..…like I originally dismissed the iPhone, which I’m on my 3rd one and getting ready for the 4th..…like I originally dismissed the iPad which has become indispensable as both a research tool and a “sketchpad” for ideas..While at this time I can’t see myself getting an Apple watch, If history is any indication I’ll have one in a few years and wonder how I existed without it.

Good for most things, except keeping up with time. Not because it can’t, but because it gets lost in all the other fancy things it can do.

Why bother? You’re only going to enjoy it for a while then lose interest in it.

My watch runs on a small battery that needs to be changed once every three years. My phone needs to be charged every day. I’m keeping my watch.

iphones are pocket computers; the Watch is going to be a terminal for that pc. The names are changed to protect the techno-challenged

My watch is on my wrist. Battery change every 3-4 years. Though I have succumbed to a FitBit - not getting an iWatch. I use Android.
